Awesome charge controller! Yes, not the cheapest, but if you want to get an MPPT charge controller, I suggest you give this brand and A1 a try. I like that it can store 128 days of data, allowing you to see trends over time.

Excellent quality! Very well made. Had a bit of a problem with setting it up though.The manual is 126 pages long! Could not get customer service after waiting for 13 minutes. Would buy it again, but this time hire another electrician other than myself to help with the installation.

I took an FM60 to Haiti recently. Very hot and high humidity. We coupled it with eight 180watt 26v modules. The controller was very easy to set up, and the charging began immediately. We had a 24v battery bank (8 x 6v). We put some heavy loads on it like pressure pumps, a big miter saw and a fridge. The unit never missed a beat.

Good day. While in theory it’s possible, you might want to look for an inverter of a smaller size. RV systems never need inverters of this capacity, so you’ll just spend more than you need. Besides, this model is quite heavy.

OutBack Power Radian Grid-Tie Hybrid Inverter, 8.0kW 48VDC, 120/240 VAC, 60HZ

OutBack Power Radian inverter can be used as a grid-tie or an off-grid inverter. There are two separate AC inputs: for the bi-directional grid connection and for an optional backup generator. The inverter is well suited for both commercial and residential applications as it can support large dynamic load variations and surge loads.

Each Radian inverter requires dual 2/0 AWG battery cables (two positive and two negative) for connection to the battery bank. They have an adjustable input-voltage range so they are compatible with most battery technologies. Radian inverters can be parallel stacked with up to 10 units for 80 kW total output (single-phase operation). A MATE3s, HUB10.3, and an appropriate GSLC are needed to complete a Radian system. Not rated for outdoor use.
